Lyford Cay?

January 10

After my night out on the Island, I took advantage of catching up on some sleep. Not sure the time, but I think I slept-in until 11am. Walked across the street to Starbucks to get tea and check on e-mails and update this Blog. Mostly waiting for hydraulic parts… should be here in a week or so. The Italian crew always greets me by saying “ciao”… every time we cross paths. It needs some getting used to. The local Bahamians are funny! They all consider me as one of them. It’s quite a nice welcomed feeling. Wade and Diane are encouraging me to apply to the Lyford Cay International School, here on New Providence. I’m trying to compile my resume and send everything off, before the teacher recruitment fair on Saturday. To teach international kids would be a change! Peter the dock master gave us fresh food, Papaya, Sour Oranges and some ‘Sours’ we call them Limes.
