CAR.TRAIN.FERRY.BUS.HOUSE!!

Exploring the city of Sydney.  All began with the car... found our parking.  Proceeded to jump on the train and passed some nice bridges.  Walked in downtown... went to the Art Gallery of New South Wales.  The Sydney Opera House  (looks like sails).  Took the ferry across to Manly and of course they have a beach called 'Manly Beach'.  After exploring some of the shops and the awesome little community we took a long bus ride to the nearest train station, followed by a car ride back...  A full day spent in the city finally home!  I'm always so tired when living in the city.  Sigh!

ROAD TRIP

Yes! A road trip. From Bega to Sydney is approximately 7 hours.  Everyone else was leaving for a ride in BIG BUS to Melbourne with 'Driver Extraordinaire Arild' and then catching a flight up to Cairns.  The wedding week flew by so quickly and everyone was saying goodbye/crying.  I was bound for Sydney with K. and then hopefully meeting up with Sven, Lisa, Zofia and Daniel later on in a couple of weeks.  It was an awesome drive... seeing beautiful scenery and listening to Flight of the Concords. haha

MUSIC SESSION: May 9, 2010

Sunrise - Merimbula.

                                               Watched the sunrise with Kieran first thing in the morning out on, Main Beach in Merimbula.  Walked to the Willis Bakery for an Aussie 'sweet' breakfast.  Went back for some sleep and then we all got picked up to go back to 'Windsong' for the famous Music Session!!!!  Tons of food and leftovers from the wedding celebration... no one went hungry!  Awesome pot luck style.  The kids were really needy and wanted to play the entire day.  We got everyone gathered near the garden to do the famous Australian Bush Dance.  That was probably my favorite part of the entire Music Session... watching all the musicians play and the rest of us dancing around like silly fools.  I can't seem to find any photographs from the dance... use your imagination for that one.
